Lingham Lake is a man made lake created by the damming of the Black River which enters the lake on the north end and exits on the south
the Moira River Conservation authority regulates the water levels
access to the lake is available on the south end of the lake via a rough road from the village of Cooper
the average depth is 8′ the maximum depth is 18′
the lake has a wide variety of bass holding structure including islands, extensive flats, bays and back bays loaded with lily pads, weed beds, stumps and logs, rock piles and shoals
