  • Buck Lake is located northwest of Huntsville along County Road 2 (Ravenscliffe Road) straddling the Parry Sound District/Muskoka District boundary
    co-ordinates: Lat. 45° 25′ 13″ Long. 79° 23′ 41″
  • the lake consists of two basins connected by a narrows. The northern basin reaches depths of 30’+ and the southern one 80′
  • a half dozen streams flow into the lake and the Buck River exits on the south end
  • the perimeter of the lake is approx. 11 km (7 miles)
  • a sand based public boat launch is located on the south end of the lake
  • Buck Lake is located within Fisheries Management Zone 15
